How to Use the Bulk Bag Capacity Calculator

Use this calculator to help you size and design standard bulk bags. Start by calculating your desired bag capacity. After that, determine what length, width, and height the bag should be to reach the desired volume calculated in the first step.

Step 1: Calculate Volume

You need to know your desired total product weight and the bulk density of your product. Don't know your bulk density? Use this chart to help find common bulk densities.

Step 2: Design Your FIBC

Choose the length, width and height of your bag. Standard bulk bags have a 35" x 35" base, and go up to 96". It is possible to custom design, within certain limits.
